Honoring You

All of the guys who have treated you wrong,

Who have not seen your true beauty

Who have not seen your heart for the Lord.

Who have not loved you the way I do.

I just want to honor you.

I see your beautiful smile,

that brightens my day everytime.

I see your gentle nature,

that warms my heart everyday.

I just want to honor you.

I see the love that you give me,

that pushes me closer to God.

I experience you kind spirit,

that lifts me up when I am down.

I just want to honor you.

God has blessed me with you,

and times I struggle understanding why.

I feel I do not always deserve it,

He just teaches me to always love.

I just want to honor you.

In all the good times in life,

I will be a constant presence.

In all the hard times in life, 

I will be right beside you.

I just want to honor you.

My life is so much better with you in it.

I feel a joy I have not experienced.

I feel God's presence in everything.

I do not always have the words to tell you

I just want to honor you.

The Lord is always there to guide our path

The Lord strengthens our bond.

He pours out is love to us everyday.

The only thing that he asks of me to to,

I just want to honor you.
